The Nevada County Sportsmen Club is happy to announce that all of our ranges (Trap, Rifle/Pistol and Archery) will once again be open to members, their guests and the general public commencing Sunday May 17th. The days and hours of operation remain the same as they were prior to the COVID-19 closure as follows:
Trap and Rifle/Pistol
Members & Guests: Wednesday’s, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M; Saturday’s, 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.;
Sunday’s, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
General Public: Sunday’s, 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Members & Guests and General Public: 7 days per week, dawn to dusk
The Clubhouse will be open with limited access for Shooter sign-in, paying Range fees, purchasing ammunition and to purchase sundry items, ie: sodas, water, packaged snacks, etc. The bar remains closed.
A maximum of four (4) people other than Club staff will be allowed inside the Clubhouse at any one time to help maintain social distancing and to discourage “social grouping”.
Social distancing practices will also be required on all ranges.
The Club requests “Shooters Only” to help minimize the number of people on our grounds during this “Phase”. It’s a health safety measure for all of us and also will help protect the Club from having a “crowding” problem!
Hand sanitizer will be available at numerous locations as well as soap and water in the two (2) outside bathrooms. The Club encourages their frequent use.
Please follow all range rules, practice social distancing and enjoy our Ranges again!!
