Per Governor Newsom's "COVID 19 ORDER" today, Nevada County has been moved to the most restrictive tier "Widespread". The impacts to the Club are going to be basically the same as last time we were in this situation, and will go into effect tomorrow, 11-17-2020 at noon.
This means an "in Clubhouse" meeting tomorrow night will not take place. We'll try to hold a brief meeting outside for the Election only (if we can get a quorum present), with no other business being entertained. If we don't convene the meeting tomorrow night, we'll hold the Election at a later date, possibly a "Special Meeting". The impacts include, but may not be limited to those listed below, as things progress.
1. The Clubhouse is closed to all members with the exception of Officers and Directors carrying out essential Club business and our employee to maintain the Clubhouse and collect Trap range fees. No other sales ie: snacks, sodas, water, coffee, ammunition, etc. will be allowed until further notice.
2. The ranges will remain open for Members Only as long as strict social distancing practices are adhered to. This means use the Club for shooting not socializing. Please shoot and leave, we all want to keep the ranges open.
3. All organized events are canceled for all three shooting disciplines until further notice.
COVID-19 guidelines shall be followed.
The Nevada County Sportsmen Club ranges (Trap, Rifle/Pistol and Archery) are open to members, their guests and the general public. The days and hours of operation remain the same as they were prior to the COVID-19 closure as follows:
